If this project gets the green light and becomes a reality, the 67-kilometer rapid rail corridor will connect Naya Ganj in Kanpur to Amausi in Lucknow. Why these specific points? Because both are already linked to existing metro networks, ensuring seamless travel for commuters. This means you could hop off the rapid rail and directly onto a metro to reach your final destination!

This initiative is seen as a massive leap towards creating a faster, safer, and more accessible transport system for the state.
