Choose a software systems of your choice and provide it's design and description after discussing in your group.
Students have been grouped for this purpose. A link has been provided on the Course Page for discussion by each Group. Each student may present to his/her group work done by him/her on the lines indicated in the course handout. Students may even work in a sub-group and make a presentation to the group. Others will be allowed to comment and ask for clarifications.
You can only submit contributions to threads belonging to your group.
A faculty member has been assigned to each group who will be observing and participating in discussions relating to the group.
The evaluation of this faculty member will be final and binding.
Any offline activity will be viewed at negatively by the faculty.
Your online contributions may include links to material in your BITS Google Drive which may include Presentations.
You will be expected to illustrate your knowledge of starUML by using it in the discussion.
Credits will be given for the following:
1. Presenting a good study.
2. Positive discussion on submissions by others.
3. Explaining items meaningfully to others in a discussion.
4. Links to work you have done using startUML. Not just the image but also the starUML source file.
5. Proper use of Design Patterns in the assignment presented with proper illustrations with diagrams.
Faculty members will give a score at the end to each individual which will be final. The score indicated against discussion threads will only be a part of the scoring system. The overall impression of the faculty will be given the highest weight.
